At Brown & Brown, our employee benefit Plan Management Services are customized to meet the needs of each client and fall under three main categories:

Plan & Contract Installation

Each year, we will manage your renewal and/or new contract installations.  Once you choose the package that will be offered for the year, we will coordinate the following actions:

  • Enrollment document preparation, distribution, collection, and verification

  • Education Sessions
    • In person
    • Web-based

  • Our internal set up, including:
    • Employee Files and Client data
    • Review of Client’s policies and procedures

  • Annual timeline established, including:
    • compliance deadlines and actions leading to next year’s renewal

  • Training

  • Provide Instructions on government reporting requirements

Employer Services

Throughout the year, we will provide services to help you run your plan more efficiently.  You can always count on our office when you have a problem or need.  We will:

  • Act as a liaison between you and the insurance carriers

  • Provide customized education, training, and consultation

  • Build communication tools include:
    • Enrollment Packets
    • New Hire Kits
    • Carrier Administrative Kits
    • Access to communication documents such as posters, payroll stuffers, and notices
    • We access outside resources and create materials in-house to ship to your location and/or deliver electronically
    • Customized client web portal

  • Access to a website designed specifically for human resources personnel, including:
    • Webinars for Executive and Administrative Personnel

  • Help with:
    • Billing issues
    • Help with eligibility issues
    • Help with reporting and compliance

  • Serve as your knowledge base for all items relating to your benefits, including outside, non-employer sponsored resources

Participant Services

We are here for your plan participants as well.  Some of the services we provide to them include:

  • Furnish contact information for insurance carriers and other vendors

  • Research and resolve claims

  • Provide help understanding basic plan provisions

  • Facilitate communication between employees and insurance companies on advanced plan provisions or employee specific, carrier appropriate questions

  • Educational webinars and on-demand videos on a variety of benefits issues
