S22Sharon E. Black, ARM, CPIW, CISR, Marketing & Commercial Lines Manager: Sharon is responsible for overseeing the Marketing & Commercial Lines departments at Brown & Brown. Her duties include making sure our clients have been provided the communication and service they desire with immediate responses and technical knowledge of their needs. This includes being involved in conference calls, internal meetings in discussing their renewal programs, and being proactive with the rest of the Commercial Lines department to assess and make decisions in their risk management needs. As a relationship builder with the agency’s carrier partners, it is crucial that she continues to develop and maintain this structure for the benefit of our clients. This helps to provide the best risk management contract that is competitive in the marketplace.

Sharon has been with Daniel James/Brown & Brown since 1986 all within the Commercial Lines department. She continuously researches the various resources available in the industry to help provide up-to-date and accurate information for our clients. Through the national marketing network within Brown & Brown, she can help our account executives open doors to prospects with risk management programs that meet their specific needs. This is unique in the insurance industry and provides a differentiator from our competition. Sharon holds an Ohio Property & Casualty resident license as well as Ohio Surplus license, including more than 40 Non Resident licenses throughout the country.

TTom Wright, Account Executive, Medium & Large accounts: With over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, Tom has been with Brown & Brown since January of 2014. His responsibilities include creating comprehensive risk management programs which includes a proprietary policy analysis system that no other agency can duplicate. He specializes in product liability and professional liability with a strong emphasis in the medical and engineering space.

Tom’s clients choose Brown & Brown because of the vast resources a national brokerage house can provide without compromising the importance of a local touch. Prior to insurance, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry for fourteen years.

Tom is blessed to have a loving wife of 26 years, Kathy, and two very bright and fun loving children, Anthony and Olivia. In his free time he enjoys dining in the many fine restaurants of Greater Toledo or cheering on the local athletic teams.

A222• Amy Wolf-Crawford, Commercial Agribusiness Account Executive:Amy is a Graduate of Bowling Green State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Sales & Services Marketing. She joined Brown & Brown’s team in 2015 and specializes in Commercial Agribusiness Risk Management. Growing up on a third generation farm and working closely with her parents in the business, enabled Amy to develop a comprehensive understanding and passion for the agriculture community.

Amy understands the value of strong relationships, especially in the agriculture space, and strives to consistently enhance relationships and better serve clients with her agriculture expertise. Amy holds her Property & Casualty License and is pursuing her Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist Certification.


JenniferSchramm2• Jennifer Schramm, Commercial Account Manager: Jennifer has been with Brown & Brown since March of 2016. She is responsible for handling the accounts of current commercial clients. Her responsibilities include processing changes, issuing certificates of insurance, assisting with claims and preparing the accounts for renewal.  She is detail oriented and strives to provide excellent customer service.

Jennifer is a graduate of several local colleges. She has a degree in Emergency Management & Planning, a degree in Marketing and an MBA in Management. Before starting with Brown and Brown, Jennifer worked for many years in the public sector before moving to the insurance industry in 2012. Jennifer holds an Ohio Property & Casualty License.  


Kefensta Kefentse Mandisa, MBA, CPCU, ARM, AINS, Commercial Lines Marketing Specialist: Kefentse or “K” is responsible for fostering relationships with our clients and exceeding their service expectations in every interaction.  He tailors his risk solutions to each specific customer to give every client the attention they deserve. He stays up to date with current industry programs and solutions to be a valued partner in helping clients managing their risk. He also builds relationships with the multiple insurance carriers Brown & Brown represents which is important to deliver the best product and experience for our customers.

“K” Graduated from Olivet College where he has his bachelors and MBA in Insurance & Risk Management. He has continued his thirst for industry knowledge by obtaining  numerous professional designations and classes. He has worked and an underwriter and a Risk Manager at a fortune 500 company. This brings a unique experience  and resource to our clients that will help them identify and handle their risk. 


Small Business Unit


Audrey Schnabel, Small Business Account Executive: Audrey has been in the insurance industry since 1980 and with Brown & Brown since 2001. Her responsibilities include contacting new prospects, quoting and proposing new business and renewal business quotes, and addressing any situation that her clients need assistance with.

Audrey makes it a point to know each one of her clients individually and to treat them the way she would like to be treated. It is very important to her that when they call or email, she respond as quickly as possible. Audrey strives to develop a relationship with each client individually, with their business, and sometimes even with their family. Audrey holds her State of Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance license.
