I came to Brown and Brown and Amy Dunn as a first time home owner without any knowledge about home owners insurance or coverage. Buying a home for the first time is a very nerve wracking process, but Amy did an outstanding job in walking me through every step. She really took the time to explain in detail things that I never would have thought of on my own, and helped me determine what the best deductible and coverage was for me.

Later on, I bundled my auto and home owners insurance together with B&B with the same great results. Several times over the years I have had a fender bender or damage to my home, and needed assistance ASAP. Every time I was able to get through to someone at B&B immediately with at least one of those times being a weekend or after business hours. I was truly amazed at this type of service as this is not the norm with other companies I have dealt with!

Amy even took it upon herself to “shop” different carriers for me, and notified me that she could get me a better discount if I switched carriers. Imagine my surprise and delight getting a call from my insurance agent asking if I wanted to LOWER my rates? This is an example of exemplary customer service that is so very hard to come by.

Brown and Brown really goes above and beyond for their customers, and I have no doubt I will be a loyal customer for years to come. I have recommended B&B to family and friends through the years, and will continue to do so. Our family has been in the car business for over 100 years. Our philosophy is “Be as good as your word.” We have been with Brown & Brown for over 25 years and they have the same philosophy. We have had many smaller claims over the years but in 2010 suffered a catastrophic claim. All of the smaller claims were handled professionally and quickly. Brown & Brown went above the call of duty for our claim. They had people on site within 24 hours who surveyed the vehicles and ok’d immediate repairs, and the claim was paid within the week. Their response time and handling of our loss kept us up and running and made a terrible situation livable. On a personal note, we have 6 family members working at our dealership and all 6 have their personal insurance with B&B also.
