At Brown & Brown, we believe that it's important to support the community we live and work in, so we encourage team members to get involved in a variety of company-sponsored charity events, including:
Sparrow’s Nest – a division of Cherry St. Mission here in Toledo, OH that provides emergency shelter for single women with food, clothing and hygiene.
Wood County Humane Society – local chapter for animal protection organization and providing shelter for surrendered, abused or abandoned domestic animals.
Martin Luther King Kitchen for the Poor – located in Toledo and currently a P&C client, they feed the homeless and low income individuals and families in the community.
Every Friday our employees bring in donations of food, clothing, etc., for the above organizations and sometimes my volunteer their time.
