E• Edwin (Ed) Dulgar, Accounting Department, Accounting Leader:  Ed has been in the insurance industry and with Brown & Brown since 2001.  His responsibilities include providing support for Brown & Brown team members who deal with clients on a day-to-day basis.  This support consists of ensuring that team members have the equipment and tools they need to perform their job at a high level of customer service and efficiency. This includes their phones, computer hardware and software, and other office machines. 

Throughout his career with Brown & Brown, Ed has acquired his P&C license and through continuing education obtained a CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.  This continuing education gives him the knowledge to communicate with fellow employees with a better understanding of their job functions.


jaronwelty2 • Jaron Welty, External Marketing & Brand Coordinator: Jaron was first hired in as an intern with the Property and Casualty department helping Sharon and the account executives. However, within a year he showed his passion for marketing and branding, and easily transitioned into his new role. He is now in charge of ensuring that all our marketing efforts are aligned, targeted and speak a collective message. Along with this, he heads our social media accounts, all event coordination, and maintains our CRM data as our Salesforce administrator. Since this a new role for Brown & Brown of Ohio, Jaron will be taking on a variety of other projects.

Jaron graduated from Bowling Green State University with a a degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing and minoring in Music Recording Technology. He has a strong musical background and was a member of the Falcon Marching Band Drumline. He was also the co-host The Sit Down on WBGU, a show on the college radio station. Now, Jaron plans to continue his education by pursuing multiple certificate programs to further his career.
