Transportation Insurors is also offering this endorsement that can be added to your physical damage policy. This package will include a truckload of added benefits at a discounted cost. Just like your normal policy, this endorsement would be used in the event your rig is broken into, damaged or disabled due to an accident!

For $26 per month per truck, that Truckload of Coverages Include:

Additional Equipment
Physical damage of up to $2,500 for fuel tanks, hitches, side kits, hoists, ramps & lifts, tarps, chains, binders & other added equipment

Personal Effects
Up to $1,000 for loss of your property while contained in the covered/locked tractor/trailer

Up to $2,500 in towing expense in con junction with a covered loss, i.e. accident (This does NOT include towing for any mechanical breakdowns)

$11 per month, per truck

Additional equipment owned by the insured relating to the described insured tractor and/or trailer. Additional equipment includes, but is not limited to, side kits, hoists, ramps & lifts, tarps, chains & binders, hitches & extra fuel tanks. Limit of coverage - $3,000. Subject to a $250 deductible.


$5 per month, per    truck

Personal property of the insured taken while contained in the described LOCKED tractor/trailer, but excluding mysterious disappearance (must have visible signs of forced entry along with a police report). Limit of coverage - $1,000. Subject to a $250 deductible.


$11 per month, per  truck

Coverage is extended to include $2,500 increments of coverage for towing expenses in conjunction with a covered loss on a per occurrence basis. Towing is defined as the transportation, moving or carrying of any insured vehicle(s) from the scene of a covered loss to the nearest or designated repair facility. (This does NOT include towing for any mechanical breakdowns).


$16 per month, per truck

In the event of a covered physical damage loss to the listed vehicle, Transportation Insurors offers a rental truck endorsement. This provides coverage for a rental truck leased from a “Preferred Provider” for up to 30 days. Their goal is to have you back to work within 24 hours of the accident!


  • Signed permanent lease agreement must be in place prior to insurance being in force
  • Over 23 years-old  
  • Acceptable driving records include:  
    • 2 minor violations in 5 years (speed under 20 mph, traffic signal)  
    • 1 serious violation in 5 years (following too close)  
    • No reckless operation, DUI, hit and run

By submitting this online application you understand that no coverage is bound, implied or altered until you receive written confirmation from us that coverage has been bound. The $10 gift card will be mailed out approximately 4-6 weeks of binding coverage. Brown and Brown reserves the right to refuse the gift card if you have been cancelled for delinquent payments anytime in the previous 6 months. Each person can only receive a maximum of two gift cards per calendar year.

How do I change my address, email address and/or phone number?

On the change form, submit your new mailing address, email address and/or phone number with the date you want the change to be effective.

How do I add and/or remove a vehicle?

This may affect your monthly payment. Indicate on the change form that you are adding a vehicle, and if appropriate, removing a vehicle on the same date. Include required information for all vehicles involved in the change:

  • Year
  • Make
  • Model
  • VIN (vehicle identification number)
  • Value
  • loss payee’s (bank’s) name & address
How can I add another driver on my policy?

This change can result in additional monthly premium charges, as well as a Motor Vehicle Report fee. On the change form, provide the following information:

  • Date you want the new driver added
  • Name, date of birth, state/driver’s license number of the new driver
  • Specify if that driver has any violations within the past 5 years, as well as how many (if any) years of commercial driving experience.
How do I cancel my policy?

Access our change form and indicate the date you want the policy cancelled. Remember that you will be charged an entire month’s premium if you have even one days’ worth of coverage in a month through Lloyds of London (Transportation Insurors).

How do I lower my truck’s value?

Indicate the value that you want us to place on your vehicle. If you have more than one vehicle on the policy, please indicate the year, make, model, and VIN of the vehicle we’re to make the value change on.

What if I change the lease company that I work for?

Please advise on the change form the information on the new lease company you are working for, and if you have left your previous lease company – or if you are adding another lease company.

  • Lease company name and address
  • Phone number and email address of the person to whom we should send proof of insurance.

If it is a lease company that we are not familiar with, we may require additional information.

How can I find out how much I owe on my bill?

You can call the Accounting Dept. at Transportation Insurors (Lloyds of London) at 800-257-7364, Extension 225. Service hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm, Eastern Time.

For Progressive you can call 1-800-PROGRESSIVE.

How do I add the loss payee (lineholder) for my truck?

You can access our change form online and indicate the name and mailing address of the loss payee. Once that information is received by our office, Underwriting will notify the loss payee via mail.

Why do you want the long form of my DOT PHYSICAL?

Underwriting guidelines require the entire long form of a driver’s DOT Physical if that driver is over the age of 65. Lloyds of London generates those guidelines for Transportation Insurors.

Amanda L. Rieger, Account Manager


Amanda has been with Brown & Brown since fall of 2013. Amanda is responsible for quoting potential clients, building and maintaining good relationships with clients and with the lease company they are contracted with, calling clients to advise them on their insurance coverage, and contacting underwriting regarding alterations or updates in clients’ policies.

Amanda takes pride in the fact that she devotes time and effort to make sure each client fully understands how this unique insurance program works, and that each and every one of them is satisfied with the service provided by Brown & Brown at the end of the day. Amanda graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, emphasis in Information Technologies, and holds her State of Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance license.


Carmen A. Beltran, Account Manager


Carmen joined Brown & Brown in 2014 and was promoted from an administrative support role to an Account Manager in the Owner Operator Department. Her responsibilities include generating new business, explaining coverage to current and potential clients, processing policies, issuing certificates of insurance, creating and maintaining relationships with lease companies, and processing daily correspondence from Transportation Insurors, Inc.

With a passion for learning, Carmen was eager to continue her education and further her career by obtaining her State of Ohio Property & Casualty Insurance license in 2015. Since 2011, Carmen has served on WSOS Community Action Commission, Inc.’s Board of Directors. She has also sat on the Board for Advocates for Legal Equality and Legal Aid of Western Ohio since 2013.
