Executive Assistant / Finance Assistant
Shannon's primary responsibilities involve performing administrative and clerical functions as a liaison and assistant to the Executive Vice President. She also assists with select administrative functions to support the Accounting Leader. Her other duties include, managing the building’s operations, tracking priority projects, coordinating all office administrative activities, processing incoming payments and assisting with closing out each month.
Prior to joining our team, Shannon worked for more than 10 years in the accounting department of a local manufacturing company. She then joined Brown & Brown of Ohio at an entry level position and was quickly recognized for her exceptional administrative skills, transitioning into her current role.
Outside the office, Shannon enjoys spending time with her grandsons and writing poetry.
Employee Benefits Associate Account Manager
As one of our Account Managers, Erica is responsible for managing the annual events for a specific group of clients, including contracting, open enrollment, wellness actions, and renewals. She is the first point of contact for her clients and works closely with the Account Executive and the rest of the team to ensure timely and effective deliverables. Additionally, she handles high-level member issues and other daily plan administration.
Erica is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science. She spent several years in customer service, human resources, and general management before joining our team as an Account Administrator. Her well-rounded background became evident, which lead to a promotion into her current role within her first year on the team.
Outside the office, she enjoys playing board games with her family, where she is always thinking one move ahead and trying to outplay them.
Personal Lines Account Manager
With over 20 years in the insurance industry, Amy’s specialty is in home, auto and other personal insurances. Amy is responsible for reviewing policies and endorsements, assisting with claims and preparing renewals. At renewal, Amy makes sure to discuss changes that might occur with the policy, or property additions or deletions that the client might have overlooked during the year. Her goal is to ensure that our customers understand how their policies function.
Amy started her insurance career with the Daniel James Insurance Agency that would eventually become Brown & Brown of Ohio. Throughout the years, Amy has developed strong personal relationships with our customers, some lasting nearly as long as Amy has been with the agency. Her customers trust that she will always put them first when it comes to protecting what matters most.
Outside the office, Amy loves photography and is becoming known in her community for her beautiful pictures of Maumee Bay sunrises.
Employee Benefits Associate Financial Analyst
As an Associate Financial Analyst, Morgan works under the direction of Damien Neill, Financial Analyst, in the marketing process for our Employee Benefits customers. She is responsible for submitting proposal requests to carriers, comparing quotes and creating the final proposal workbooks for our Account Executives. She also performs monthly analysis of plan performance, among other analytical and reporting duties.
Morgan is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Specializing in Finance. Before joining our team, she worked in the greater Columbus area as a Financial Analyst for OhioHealth where she assisted with budgeting, monthly revenue reporting and other ad hoc analysis.
Since running cross country in high school Morgan has enjoyed staying active and running in several charity races throughout the year.

In her role as an Employee Benefits Account Manager, Elizabeth is responsible for managing the annual events for a specific group of clients, including contracting, open enrollment, wellness actions, and renewals. She is the first point of contact for her clients and works closely with the Account Executive and the rest of the team to ensure timely and effective deliverables.
Elizabeth initially joined our team as an employee benefits intern while earning her Bachelor's Degree in Insurance and Services Marketing from Bowling Green State University. Upon graduation, Elizabeth spent three years building her industry knowledge and experience with another employee benefits team before returning to Brown & Brown.
Outside the office, she enjoys kayaking with her friends and family.
Employee Benefits Account Executive
As an Employee Benefits Account Executive, Kristy assists employers in designing and managing their employee benefit plans. She also guides employers in finding long-term solutions to improve overall cost, maintain high level benefits and stay ahead of their competition. Additionally, Kristy stays involved with our service team, keeping abreast of any plan issues that may arise.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, Kristy has held sales positions across the country accumulating over 14 years of experience. Before returning to the Toledo area and joining the Brown & Brown team, Kristy spent six years with a PEO solutions company. Kristy’s focus in all her sales roles has been to provide businesses with the proper tools and insights to help meet their goals.
Outside the office, Kristy enjoys skiing down different mountains across the US and Canada.
