An industry veteran for over 30 years, Ben is recognized as an industry expert in both financing and compliance strategies associated with health & welfare plans. Ben has served as State Legislative Chair for the Ohio Association of Health Underwriters, on Governor Kasich’s advisory panel for Value-Based Reform, as a regional educator on ACA, and in a consulting capacity to various media outlets, health plans and health care systems. Most recently Ben has served as one of six regional leaders making up Brown & Brown Insurance’s (6th largest broker in the US) National Employee Benefits Leadership team.
